Memory stick driver win98




















Can anyone help me out with this??? Campcreek29 2 Bronze. I just purchased a new Inspiron I also have an Inspiron that has Win98 on it. I'm just thinking if I did that then maybe I wouldn't have to worry about getting that Win98 memory key driver to work because I'm having the same trouble as others here are getting it to work.

You can use it to span the executable install file to several floppies. You should be able to copy WinRar to a floppy and install it on Copy WinRar to a floppy disk and install it on the Win98 System. Install it on the NoteBook as well. Right mouse click on the???. In Split to volumes, bytes, select 3. Now you have an option to create a self extracting Archive, you don't need to do this if you have installed WinRar to Win When you have made your selections click OK and it will create the spanned volume set for you.

Copy each individual file to a floppy and copy it to a folder on the Win98 System. When you have a copy of all of the files on the Win98 System right click on the first Archive and select extract or double click on the file if you created a self extracting set.

This will rebuild the USB. Install the drivers and you should be able to use your USB stick. Just remember that you will need a bit of space to extract them to.
