Very simple, he delivers, no questions asked. Frank has relocated from the French Mediterranean to Miami, Florida, where as a favor to a friend, Frank is driving for the wealthy Billings family.
There's very little that can surprise The Transporter, but young Jack Billings has done just that; Frank has unexpectedly bonded with Jack, age 6, who he drives to and from school. But when Jack is kidnapped, Frank must use his battle-tested combat skills to retrieve the boy and thwart the kidnappers' master plan to release a virus that will kill anyone with whom it comes in contact. Did you know Edit. Goofs When the gas is ignited from the cylinder in the doctor's office, the cylinder goes shooting down the hall.
You can see that the valve is still intact. In reality, the gas escaping from the cylinder through a valve which is at a ninety degree angle to the cylinder such as the one shown, would force the bottle to spin, not to shoot out and fly in a straight line. Additionally, if the pressure of the gas were enough to move the cylinder, it would do so regardless of the gas being lit on fire.
The burning, and subsequently expanding, gas would have no effect on the cylinder once it is outside of the valve as the burning gas does not increase the force on the cylinder. Implausible action sequences are forgiven with the wink of an eye from the director and actors. Some of the fastest action you will see that doesn't rely on wire-fu or CGI. Rather, we get a lot of the same from Frank and that is exactly what should be expected. I think in the modern era of the high concept action movies, they have forgotten how to just show the audience a good time.
This movie and it's predecessor take us back to a time when action wasn't bogged down by complicated stories, rather the star's charisma and action were all that one needed to enjoy their time in the theater. These movies have no lofty aspirations other than to give you one hell of a ride for an hour and a half.
This outing delivers in spades. FAQ 5. What is "Transporter 2" about? What is the name of the song that plays in the scene that shows the montage of Frank, Audrey Billings, etc.? A short time later, the pal, wounded by gunfire, crashes his car into Frank's living room and dies, leaving a young woman in the back seat. The employer of the dead man shows up, forces Frank to take the job, snaps a bracelet on his wrist that will explode if Frank gets more than 75 feet from his car, and sends Frank on a journey east with the young woman and a trunk full of something.
She's Valentina, nearly mute. Can Frank figure out what's going on, deliver the package, and escape alive? And what does the ship have to do with it? This time, the rules are the same.

Connections Featured in Great Movie Mistakes User reviews Review. Top review. I liked the Movie. I read many of the reviews on rottentomatoes and almost did not go to see this movie. What a mistake that would have been. If you want to go to a movie, sit down and be entertained for 1 hour and 40 minutes with non stop action then this is the movie for you. I am not a serious movie critic I am just an average guy who wants to go to a movie that will be enjoyable.
This movie is fun to watch from the beginning to the end. I asked others that were sitting near me what they thought of the movie and they all liked it. I thought that Jason Statham was perfect as Frank Martin. I wish that I had a body like that, I would do a striptease for a living. I enjoyed that the French Inspector was more involved in this movie over the last 2.
